Purpose

Strategic Partners in the Technical Operations and MRO Area of Involvement will have the opportunity to work on developing policies, standards and recommendations for consideration of the IATA Safety, Flight and Ground Operations Advisory Council. Additionally, this area promotes related IATA positions to ICAO, regulatory, industry and other relevant organizations on all aspects of aircraft engineering and maintenance activities.

IATA'S Engineering & Maintenance Group (EMG) develops policies, standards and recommendations for consideration by the IATA Operations Advisory Council (OAC). The EMG develops and promotes related IATA positions to ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization), regulatory, industry and other relevant organizations
